I feel as though this school is depressing in a sense, as Steve so perfectly explained. The place feels like a prison, and the need to require extra points in comparison to other schools nationwide provides a feeling of burnout and stress, especially to those whom have missed a certain subject due to this major flaw. The principal in my opinion is a generally nice guy, but I can't say the same for the vices. The male and female vice principals are just generally bullies, and they seem to have no awareness in the way they treat the kids of the school. There is also some major race issues in my opinion. I tend to see specific race groups stuck together in unnatural ways, and the faculty seems to be oblivious to the real issues. They also openly stated in an assembly that they do not care if minors send each other explicit photos. I must say, as a person with a rather altered view, it can be hard to adapt to the teaching methods used here. Every day comes and goes, with nothing fun ever done. The extra-curriculars are mid at best. They aren't really anything out of the norm for a high school. The school also lacks many necessary electives like Video Production, despite the middle school having two teachers in that field. You would think they'd just move one over, right? All in all, this school rightfully encompasses a three star review. It's not bad enough where I'm in misery, but it's not the best school one could attend.

I"m moving back to the states on June 10th 2020 and I'm currently a sophomore that attends SHS and Its currently closed because of the covid19 situation but My Freshman year I had a blast and I love this school to death I do not wanna leave SHS. This school has my heart and tbh if i could bring something to florida with me it would've been SHS Thank you for the Laughs,Memories,Teachers and most importantly Thank you for the Friends i've made here these 4 years was a bumpy ride but will always be in My heart Thank You too PMS and SHS for everything. What can i say. #Pantherout TMC

Toxic environment and the teachers are more emotionally unstable then students always saying something to cut them down also assistant principal and main principal are judgement and use stereotypes of race to categorize students
